CBSE Class 10th Datesheet 2026 - The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the tentative datesheet for CBSE Class 10 2026. This eagerly awaited CBSE Class 10 Schedule 2026 is now available to all students, parents, and educators. The CBSE 10th board exams 2026 will be conducted twice. Phase 1 is scheduled to take place between February 17 and March 9, 2026. Following this, Phase 2 of the CBSE 10th exams 2026 will be held from May 15 to June 1, 2026. This two-phase approach allows for a structured examination period, accommodating various subjects and logistical considerations.

The board has clarified that CBSE examinations for both Classes 10 and 12 will be conducted in a single shift on exam days, starting at 10:30 am.

CBSE Class 10th Board Exams to be Held Twice a Year from 2026
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced two board exams in 2025-26 for class 10 which will be effective next year. The first phase of the exam which will be conducted from February 17, 2025 will be compulsory examination for students.
For students wishing to improve their scores, an optional second examination (Phase 2) will be conducted from May 15, 2025. Students who have passed will have the opportunity to enhance their performance in up to three subjects from Science, Mathematics, Social Science, and languages. The results for the first and second phases of exams will be released in April and June, respectively.
CBSE anticipates approximately 4.5 million students will participate in examinations covering 204 subjects, both within India and in 26 other countries. In addition to written exams, the board will manage practical assessments, evaluations, and post-result procedures to ensure timely result declaration.
