Twins from Bhubaneswar Score Identical 99.998 Percentile in JEE Main 2026

Identical twins Mahroof Ahmed Khan and Masroor Ahmed Khan from Bhubneswar scored an identical 285 in the JEE Main 2026. They were students at Allen Career Institute in Kota and appeared in the same shift and center.

The brothers, born on May 7, 2008, studied together and are high achievers, having excelled in Class 10 and won numerous Olympiad medals. Their mother, Dr. Zeenat Begum, resigned from her gynaecologist position with the Odisha government to move to Kota with them in 2023 for their studies, initially for Olympiad preparation before they decided on JEE coaching. Their father is also a doctor working in Odisha.

She added, "They had an interest in maths from the beginning, so they chose to go for engineering rather than medicine. They aspire to pursue BTech in Computer Science at IIT Bombay. Their priority is computer science."

They followed similar study strategies, including competing in tests and helping each other improve. With a keen interest in mathematics, they chose engineering over medicine. They now aspire to pursue BTech in Computer Science at IIT Bombay and are currently preparing for the JEE Advanced.
