DUSU Election Results 2026: Vote counting for DUSU Elections 2026 is in progress at Multipurpose Hall of North Campus Sports Stadium in Delhi University. Following 40.46% of voting, which marks the highest in the last three years, over 1.51 lakh eligible students have cast their votes in two polling shifts to elect their leaders for four coveted Central Panel positions of President, Vice President, Secretary, and Joint Secretary. The high-tension and triangular battle among the three major parties include ABVP, NSUI, and AISA-SFI alliance of the left.
Preliminary trends suggest that there will be neck-to-neck fight between ABVP with candidates like Yash Dabas for President position and Riya Chhawadi for Secretary and NSUI Vijay Shankar Meena for President position and Namrata Chaudhary for the secretary position. ABVP has taken lead entering into vote counting phase by scoring clean sweep in the pre-polling college union election of colleges like Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) and Shivaji College. Major concerns affecting the student voters included campus infrastructure, hostel shortage and metro concessions.
