Maharashtra s Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis has announced an opportunity for young people. They can apply for a fellowship to work with the state government and help with development. Eligibility for Chief Minister Fellowship Program 2026?

1. Candidates must be aged 21–26 as of May 8, 2026 (born between May 8, 2000, and May 8, 2005).
2. A graduate degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks is required.
3. The Commissionerate of Economics and Statistics handles placements; fellows cannot choose their assigned authority.
4. 4.Proficiency in Marathi (reading, writing, speaking) is necessary, plus knowledge of Hindi, English, and basic computer/internet skills.
5. Fellows must complete field work alongside a specialized course designed by IIT Bombay.

The selection phase is highly competitive and typically consists of two main stages. An online objective test covering GK, current affairs, reasoning, and basic language skills, followed by an essay submission.
