Elon Musk is the richest person in the world in June 2026 with a net worth of $1.2 trillion. His wealth surged by $53 billion due to his investments in SpaceX, Tesla, and xAI. He became the first trillionaire in the world due to IPO of his company SpaceX.

2. Larry Page

Larry Page, one of the co-founders of Google makes it to the second position in the list of richest people in the world with a net worth of approximately $301 billion. Brin’s net worth swelled due to the success of Alphabet (parent company of Google) in cloud computing, search and AI technology.

Although Page is not actively involved with the company but his stake in it has seen a significant boost due to positive stock performance of Alphabet and his other investments in Ai.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is in fourth place at an estimated net worth of $254.1 billion. In 2021, Bezos resigned from his position as Amazon's CEO and is now the executive chairman of the company. His wealth is very much tied to the stock price of Amazon.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is on the verge of a new growth spurt as businesses scramble to create AI-driven products on the cloud. That is one of the reasons Bezos still among the top five richest people in the world.

Michael Dell witnessed the second-largest single-month increase on the list as the founder of Dell Technologies. His net worth rose by $67 billion in May 2026. For Dell, the AI boom has been a blessing as the company provides servers and hardware for AI data centres globally.

Dell Technologies' rising share value catapulted him to the top spot in the list for the first time, ahead of Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg. His net worth as of June is $234.5 billion dollars.
