ICC also evaluates the performance of players by calculating their points. One such list is the ODI batting rankings, in which a batsman is ranked based on the number of points earned in a year on a scale of 0-1000 points.

Who is the Number 1 ODI Ranking Batsman in the World?
Rohit Sharma became the No. 1 ODI batsman courtesy his 33rd century in ODIs and a Player of the Series award in the recently concluded India-Australia ODI series. He has achieved 781 points in the latest official ICC rankings released on October 26, 2025.
The other Indians on the Top 10 list are Shubman Gill (No. 3), Virat Kohli (No. 6), and Shreyas Iyer (No. 9).
