The Vinimay Land Port Management System (LPMS) is an integrated, digital landing port operating system that supports every avenue of cargo, people and vehicles crossing an international land border through an entirely digital process.
It does this by integrating all of the entities involved in customs and immigration like customs, immigration and border security agencies onto one platform, thereby creating a single digital interface that allows for improved efficiency and speed through land ports.

On 9th June 2026, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched the Land Port Management System (LPMS) VINIMAY at a solemn ceremony in New Delhi. LPMS has been introduced in line with the government's vision to create a smarter, more technology-driven border infrastructure.
During the launch, Minister Shah noted that ‘Vinimay’ would create an end-to-end digital processing facility for the movement of cargo and passengers across India's border ports, resulting in almost 90% less paperwork and reduced wait and process times.
