The submission process was completed in March 2026 and now the students can expect the rankings to be released anytime soon at nirfindia.org. What is NIRF Ranking 2026?

National Institute Ranking Framework, NIRF, is a system launched by Government of India on September 29, 2015, to rank higher education institutes across the country. Universities and colleges are ranked and analysed based on different parameters to promote quality and transparency in Indian higher education system.

This annual ranking system serves as a benchmark to help students and parents in choosing the right college or university to understand and analyse the quality of the institute which they are considering for admissions. The institutes are divided into different categories such as overall, engineering, management, medical, pharmacy, law, architecture, etc.
