What is NMMS Scholarship for Class 8th TN Students?
The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) is a Central Sector Scheme launched in 2008. Its objective is to award the meritorious students who are from economically weaker sections of the society so as to prevent the school drop out rates at Class VIII and encourage them to study further. The scholarships are provided to students to take admission in Class IX and this scholarship can be renewed for Class X to XII.
