Schools in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand will be closed today, August 25 due to heavy rainfall. The order is applicable to all government, non-government, and private schools from Classes 1 to 12

• Himachal Pradesh School Holiday

Schools and colleges in four districts of Himachal Pradesh will remain closed today, August 25, 2025, according to reports. The decision comes after the local meteorological department issued heavy rain warnings for 2 to 7 districts of the state, effective until August 30.

• Rajasthan School Holiday

1. Jaipur, Rajasthan: All schools and Anganwadi centers are closed on August 25 and 26 due to heavy rainfall.
2. Jodhpur, Rajasthan: All educational institutions are closed on August 25 for the Baba Ramdev Masuria Mela.
3. Nagaur, Rajasthan: All schools, coaching centers, and Anganwadi centers are closed on August 25 and 26 due to the possibility of heavy rainfall.

Jammu All schools in Jammu division to remain closed on Aug 25

Authorities on Sunday directed the closure of all government and private schools across the Jammu Division on 25th August 2025 due to prevailing inclement weather conditions.
An order issued by the Joint Director of School Education, Jammu, stated:
“In view of the inclement and adverse weather conditions, it is hereby ordered that all government as well as private schools in the Jammu Division shall remain closed tomorrow, i.e., 25.08.2025.”

Maharashtra
