SBI PO Prelims Exam Analysis 2025 (4 August): Shift 1, 2 Paper Review, Difficulty Level and Good Attempts

The expected cut-off marks for the SBI PO 2025 prelims exam are anticipated to range between 60-65 for the General category, while EWS and OBC categories may see a cut-off between 59-64. Refer to the table to know the section-wise SBI PO Cut Off in the table below.

The English section of the SBI PO 2025 exam was easy and included topics such as Reading Comprehension, Spotting Error, Cloze Test, and Sentence Rearrangement. You can check the number of questions asked from each topic in the table below.

A total of 30 questions were asked from Quantitative Aptitude section. The maximum number of questions were based on Data Interpretation, Pie Chart and Venn Diagram. Aspirants found these questions challenging and bit time-consuming.

Aspirants who appeared for the exam on August 4 found the overall difficulty level to be easy to moderate. All sections were easy, except for Quantitative Aptitude, which was considered moderate in both Shift 1 and Shift 2.

As per the initial feedback, the SBI PO exam held on August 4 in shift 1 was easy to moderate in difficulty.

SBI PO Prelims exam comprises 100 Objective type questions for 100 marks. There is a negative marking of 0.25 for every incorrect answer.

SBI PO 2025 exam will be held in four shifts: 9 am to 10 am, 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, 2 pm to 3 pm, and 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Aspirants must reach the exam venue at least an hour prior to their shift timings and must adhere to SBI PO Exam Day Guidelines.
