Reasoning and General Intelligence always plays a crucial role in scoring well in the written exam. For Group D exam, question will be asked for the topics including Under the subject of Mathematics for Group D exam, question will be based on the topics including-
Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.

Under the subject of Mathematics for Group D exam, question will be based on the topics including Mathematics Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern etc. 

All those candidates qualified in written CBT will have to appear in the next Physical Efficiency Test (PET) round. Under the PET round for male candidates, candidates should be able to lift and carry 35 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down; and Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance. 

As per the detailed notification release,  the RRB Group D City Intimation Slip 2025  will be available to download 10 days before the commencement of Group D posts. The exam is scheduled to be held from November 17, 2025. 

As per the official notification released the RRB Group D Admit Card Download process will be commenced from 4 days before the commencement of exam. It is noted that the  Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is all set to conduct the written exam from 17 November 2025 to 31 December 2025.

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is all set to release the City Intimation Slip for  32438 Posts soon on its regional official website. It is expected that the City slip will be released 10 days before the commencement of exam date. It is noted that the Group D exam is from 17 November 2025 to 31 December 2025.

Candidates appearing in the written exam for the various Group D posts under  CEN-08/2024 should note that they will have to avoid the banned items  in the  exam venue. You can get here the details of the banned items at the exam venue including Electronic gadgets like Mobile phones, Bluetooth, pen drive, laptops, calculators, wrist watches or any other communication devices or pen/pencil, wallet/purses, shoes, belts and metallic wears including ornaments etc. 

As per the detailed notice released, the written exam will be conducted a single stage Computer Based Test (CBT) across the country. However the Railway Administration however reserves the right to conduct the CBT in either single or multi stage mode.

Candidates appearing in the written exam for  RRB Group D exam 2025 posts should note that the CBT exam will have 100 multiple-choice questions with duration of 90 minutes.Ṭhe exam will consists of different subjects including-

• Mathematics, 
• General Intelligence and Reasoning, 
• General Science, and General Awareness & Current Affairs. 

As per the official notification released for Group D posts, the hall ticket will be available to download  4 days before the commencement day of the examination. Candidates can download their hallticket by logging into their account with their registration number and password.
