E-Sanad: The Punjab Government has launched a new digital service called E-Sanad to make education document verification easy and fast for students. With this online platform, students of the Punjab School Education Board can now get their mark sheets and certificates verified within a few days. Earlier, this process used to take 40–45 days and required visits to offices.
Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said the service is available for all current and former students. The documents will be verified digitally by PSEB and authenticated by the Ministry of External Affairs.
E-Sanad supports Apostille for Hague Convention countries and MEA attestation for other countries. The entire process is online, paperless, and students do not need to visit the PSEB office.
What is E-Sanad?
E-Sanad is an online service that helps people get their documents checked and attested easily. It works without papers, cash, or office visits. Students can apply from home for Apostille or attestation services. This project is made by NIC to make document work simple and fast.
How to use Online for PSEB Certification Verification?
Students can check and complete PSEB Certification Verification online by first paying the verification fee on the PSEB website. After that, they must register on the e-Sanad portal, scan and upload required documents along with the fee receipt. Once submitted, students can track their application status online using the ARN number.
Part A: PSEB Fee Payment
Before applying on the E-Sanad portal, students must first pay the document verification fee on the Punjab School Education Board website.
For each document like a certificate or DMC, a fee of ₹900 has to be paid online. Students can make the payment using this official link: Click here
After payment, a fee receipt will be generated. Students must download and save this receipt as a PDF. This receipt is very important because it will be uploaded later on the E-Sanad portal along with the documents.
Tip: Keep the payment receipt safe and do not delete it, as the same receipt is required for completing the online verification process.
