Coal India Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must fulfil the given eligibility criteria. 1. Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have a relevant full-time engineering degree with minimum qualifying marks

• The degree must be from a recognised university or institute approved by the appropriate statutory authority in India

• Minimum 60% marks required for General, OBC, and EWS candidates

• Minimum 55% marks required for SC/ST candidates

2. Age Limit

• The Maximum age limit for General and EWS candidates is 30 years

3. Age Relaxation

Eligible candidates fromreserved categories are given some relaxation in the age limit as per government rules. 

• OBC candidates: 3 years 

• SC/ST candidates: 5 years 

• PwBD candidates: 10 years

Coal India Limited has released a total of 660 vacancies for the post of Management Trainee in E-1 Grade across 9 disciplines. From these, 647 are fresh vacancies, and 13 are backlog vacancies. 64 vacancies are reserved on a horizontal basis for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), including backlog vacancies from previous recruitments.
